Frequently Asked Questions
We always strive to be your "Reliable, Reputable Resource for all your roofing needs". We are even further committed to the quality of your experience when choosing us to be your commercial roofing contractor. You should know exactly what is expected when working with us. Here are some of our frequently asked questions -

How Do You Determine Repair vs Replacement?
If we feel we can repair your roof and increase the service life, that is what we will recommend. If we feel that it is beyond repair and would not make economical sense to prolong the current roof, we will then provide options to replace the roof. We often perform an informal moisture scan to determine how much the roof is holding to help determine if your roof can handle a repair.

How Long Will The Repair Process Take?
Repairs usually take about 1 to 2 days to complete but that will often depend on the number of defects we identify during the inspection. The process may go quicker or longer depending on the weather.

Do We Need A Staging Area?
A staging area is normally required for dumpster placement next to the building. Sometimes an additional area may be required to store material and equipment. In most cases it depends on the size of the job and the accessibility of the area.

Will It Be Noisy?
More than likely, after all, it is a temporary construction site. On a roof tear-off, it will be noisy. The gas powered equipment that we use will make noise but it will quiet down once we begin to apply the new roof. We will make arrangements with you to work on a schedule that is most convenient for you and the building. We have experience working on hospital buildings and schools that require a quieter work environment.

Does The Glue Have An Aroma?
Not always but it depends on the size of the job, how long it takes and the types of adhesive used. We can take precautions to help keep the aroma from entering the building. We also can use a low VOC adhesive but that will often be slightly higher in cost.

Can We Look At A Different System?
We will always aim to stick within your budget and to resolve any roof issues that are occurring, but on occasion to completely resolve the issue, may be more than what was budgeted. If that is the case, we will certainly provide you with other options but also make it clear what the pros and cons are of all solutions presented.

Are You Local?
Yes! We've been proudly serving the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas for over 15 years. We have locations in Edmond and Broken Arrow.

How Long Will It Take To Complete The Project?
Many factors determine the project timeline, such as the weather, size of the project and roof system. We will do everything we can to meet your timelines.

How Long Have You Been In Business?
Red River Roofing was established in 2000 and has grown to two locations and a fleet of over 35 vehicles. Our success and growth in the industry has led us to expand our commercial division to one of the best repair and maintenance teams in Oklahoma.

When Can You Start?
Typically 30 to 60 days from contract signing. It will take time to properly plan out the materials and labor needed to complete your project and weather plays an important factor in our timeline as well. However, each situation is different so if you have a timeline in mind, please give us a heads up and well will do what we can to make it happen.
